Allergies, Medical and Dietary Needs
25 Aug 2022
Snacks
All children are offered a healthy snack and a drink during free play. Children are encouraged but not required to come for a snack. Children are able to have a drink of water throughout the session. Parents are asked for a termly voluntary donation towards the cost of snacks.
Allergies and Special Dietary Needs
You can identify any allergies and special dietary needs for your child on the registration form. This includes any food intolerances that do not require medication; religious or cultural food expectations; or family-based preferences.
The Pre-School will make reasonable adjustments to the snack foods and the resources it provides in response to diagnosed medical needs and religious requirements. Parents are asked to provide any specialist or alternative food they would like their child to have at Pre-School, based on their own preferences. You can find out more about how we manage allergies and dietary needs in the Managing Health Care Needs policy, or you can contact us.
